Hackett East Now Has A Facebook Page

EAST was using a Facebook profile, which has a couple of issues, it only could have 5k friends, and it was limited in terms of moderation. There are also very few tools that can be used with the profiles, and anyone wanting to use them for a website was out of luck. I was unable to implement the comments section, because Facebook requires an administrator ID, now I could have used one of my pages, but this would have led to several issues.

One, if I stopped the page there would have been issues, if I quit using Facebook all together it would no longer work, and then everyone would have lost. Now that we have a page, you no longer have to friend a profile but you can simply hit the like button on the side to receive all of our latest updates, in the coming days I will be working on a way to streamline the post content into the Facebook page.

This simply means that all of our posts will automatically be shared to the page, which helps you notice them as they will appear in your news feed that way you will receive all the updates with you needing to visit the website.

I am also going to be making video tutorials in the coming days to help you guys learn how to use blogger, such as writing a post, creating labels, and writing compelling search descriptions.

This is a work in progress that is going to take some time so any suggestions will be taken seriously. Keep in mind some things are unable to be fixed because of the limitations of the software.
