Hackett Band Finishes Marching Season With A Bang

The Hackett Hornet marching band has just ended one of its most successful marching seasons since the 1990s.

Throughout this year's season, fans of Hackett's football team, as well as fans of the band itself have been raving with the band's selection of music and their performance thus. The band's show consisted of Rock and Roll all Nite, originally by KISS, 21 Guns by Green Day, and closed with Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones.

The marching contests were an opposite bunch, as the first day was plagued by rain and dreary conditions, and the second was pretty chilly. However, the band pulled through with second division ratings in both contests, only a few points and personal opinions prevented Hackett from pulling a first division from the judges.
